Our third generation of avTool is a cost-effective and indispensable product for everyone – from seasoned AV professionals to first-time users. It’s as easy as 1-2-3.

The interactive avTool is designed with an intelligent program architecture to create a specific conference room with all the equipment especially designed for your customer. This feature sets avTool apart from an ordinary CAD system, and even inexperienced users can use avTool instantly. The database is updated every day, so that equipment and devices used for visualization – such as projectors or flat screen monitors – can be selected and presented in a variety of room configurations. An av-specialist harmonizes the visualization objects in the database and enters them into the system as configured, which allows for direct comparison.

Beside planning of front and rear projection (the latter can also include tilted mirrors), the program allows the user to superimpose the audience perspective with the viewer distance, based on the relevant standards, as well as windows and podiums.

If needed for automatic dimensioning, the user can insert additional dimension lines. The screen is divided into four quadrants: sketch, side view, front view, and 3D view. These allow for zooming in and out of the detail planning. Password protection ensures that dimensioned projects stored on the web server can only be accessed by authorized users. The user can define the parameters of a scaled print copy of the project in PDF format. The program prints the technical data for the project and the selected products directly into the header.

The new avTool is available on the internet in 3 languages (German, English, French).

Registration (new account)

To use the avTools a registration on the tool's website is neccessary. To create a new accout you must fill out the following fields:

  • a valid email-address;
  • a password;
  • your title (mr/mrs);
  • your first name and
  • your last name.

By registring you accept our usage and privacy policies. We will keep all your data confidentially and protect your projects against unauthorised access by other users. The project date will be stored secure and encrypted.

To log in after the registration you only need your email-address and password.

Create a new project

You must use a unique project name. Unique means, that you can use this name only once within your registration.

All other fields are optional. Your should however fill them out if you wish this information to apperar on the printout of your PDF-files.

Project overview

In the overview you can see a list of all your stored projects.

  • Edit
    allows you to edit the descriptive data of your project;
  • Delete
    to delete the whole project;
  • avTool
    to start the avTool.
